Totally understand comparisons to nazi Germany. Since WWII is not well-known to many younger people and to those from countries and cultures that didn't participate (like those who speak Spanish) I suggest you also use references to contemporary bad guys, even if fiction. James Bond, Captain America, and Wonder Woman don't exist, but the types of enemies they fought do, mostly.
