As a 70 year old retiree, I will happily vote for a new deal for the young.

Because the elderly already are so dominant within the electorate, and because demographic trends will make them more so, the current liberal moment could be over within the blink of an eye.

Except being that they are elderly their lives are just as likely to be over in a blink of an eye. 500,000 more conservatives are dying per year than liberals and are being replaced by around 1,000,000 more liberals (given how many young are liberal as a percentage of their cohort)

you can't tax cut your way or rage tweet your way to immortality.

The complaint I hear much more often than "old person given the hook" is "old people rig the system so all the wealth, jobs and blessings go to them." What you're describing sounds like a correction. Your predictions concerning voting rates and the future voting patterns of Boomers seems very possible but it's not the only scenario imaginable, particularly if all this government expansion results in many more government employees and contractors.
